Leo and Valerie Lytle make their home in Pine Valley, Texas. Pine Valley is a small East Texas community outside of the city limits of Diboll, Texas, which is about two hours’ drive north of Houston, Texas. Married since July 21, 2007, they have a blended family of eight children: six sons and two daughters. So far, they are blessed with 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Leo owns and operates Lytle’s Custom Woodcraft. He pastored for 33 years before becoming an evangelist and starting Leo Lytle Ministries in 2018. Leo preaches around the country at church services, revivals, Bible conferences, youth and children’s camps and other special events.
Valerie is a former newspaper columnist, editor and feature writer who still enjoys writing. She also maintains an active license as a registered nurse in hopes of participating in medical mission trips. Valerie retired from nursing in December 2021 after working nearly 20 years as a full-time labor and delivery nurse.
Leo Bell Lytle III
Leo Bell Lytle III was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was the seventh of eight children born to Nellie Mae Lytle and Joseph Fred Lytle of Shreveport, Louisiana. Leo was born again in 1975 at the age of 21. Here are some of his points of interest:

Valerie Lynne Culp-Lytle
Valerie Lynne Culp-Lytle was born in Lufkin, Texas. She was the first of three children born to Ida Mae Culp and David Culp. Valerie accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in December 1972 at the age of 12. Here are some of her points of interest:

- Graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1983 with a Bachelor of Journalism degree
- Worked in various levels from part-time/full-time/part-time off and on as columnist/editor/feature writer at The Lufkin Daily News from 1976 to 1980; 1983 to 2003.
- Became Licensed Paramedic after completing the Emergency Medical Technician Program at Angelina College
- Earned Associate of Applied Science Degree in Emergency Medical Services from Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas in 2002
- Earned Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas in 2002
- Worked full-time as a labor and delivery registered nurse from June 2002 to December 2021, first at The University of Texas Medical Branch John Sealy and then at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.
- Retired from nursing in December 2021, in part to be able to more fully participate in the Kingdom work of Leo Lytle Ministries.
- Hopes to complete a master’s degree in Christian apologetics
