Street Evangelism

When Leo is invited by a pastor to preach or to present The Door, he will attempt to line up some additional churches in which to preach along the route. Then he will build a ministry trip around accepting that invitation. Leo and Valerie will do street evangelism all the way to the destination(s) and back.
God has honored this approach. Now in its eighth year, Leo Lytle Ministries has been blessed to see well over 5,000 people pray to be saved. Most of them did so on the side of the road or in an abandoned parking lot.
The tools that Leo and Valerie use are the cedar picket “Jesus Is Lord” signs made by Trinity Baptist Church of Lufkin, Texas and the volunteer Cross Men and Cross Women. Steve Cowart is pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Lufkin. Prayer support is provided by Vic Bass of Vic Bass Ministries and his army of prayer warriors. Passersby stop by to get a free cross. Leo and Valerie greet the passersby as they approach. The Holy Spirit takes it from there.
